Justin Eballar
Managing Attorney, California
Justin Eballar is an accomplished advocate with nearly ten years of experience in direct action and complex civil litigation, who serves as Enara Law's Managing Attorney in California. He has represented individuals, businesses, residential landowners, and commercial landowners in individual, mass, and class action cases throughout the State of California.
Before establishing his own office in 2021, Justin practiced at two of Los Angeles' top-rated plaintiff trial firms where he recovered over $10,000,000 for his clients. Since then, Justin has also found success on the defense side of cases, where his accomplishments include turning a $2.1 million lawsuit against his client into a dismissal and award for attorney’s fees, both of which were in his client’s favor.
Justin has a published article in California’s premier legal newspaper, the Daily Journal, discussing contradictions in government immunity laws. He has also volunteered for the Grassroots Law Project and Pepperdine School of Law’s Disaster Relief Clinic.
My favorite story about my career as a lawyer is the time when a landlord tried to unlawfully evict members of my family from their home so that they could demolish the property and build a large apartment building. A few months after I took on their case, my family members continued to live in their home and the Los Angeles City Council had forbidden demolition of the home by declaring it a historical monument.
I think this is a great example of how advocacy, under the right circumstances, and with the right representation, can really make a difference for individuals and businesses alike. Had the landlord been given proper counsel, he could have avoided a scenario that would lead to a high-risk, losing legal battle. Had my family members not had proper counsel, they could have unlawfully given up their right to rent without ever knowing it.
